How did the high school football season go overall?
“We went 10-3 in Coach Calhoun’s first year. We were undefeated district champions and made it to the Regional Championship game. Personally in my first year playing football, I set a school record of most extra points in a season going 50 for 51. I was ranked top 10 in Florida in my class for kicking points with 62 points and I hit the game winning extra point against Lake Mary for the district championship.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My plan is to be working every day to get better. Whether it’s lifting, kicking, or doing drill work. Last year was my first-year kicking, so I need to work twice as hard to get to the next level. Also continuing to excel in the classroom.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I believe we have a really great group of guys this year. We have an amazing coaching staff and so much talent. I think we have the opportunity to do something really special this year. I’m blessed to be a part of the Seminole football culture and family.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I am really excited for our kickoff classic against Jones. It will be a great challenge for us to start off the season against one of the best programs in the area. Two historical central Florida high school football teams competing at Camping World Stadium is going to be awesome. So I’m looking forward to the opportunity and the challenge with my team.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“It’s really hard to single any one player out because of the talent in this area. All I know is the guys that would be the toughest to play against are on my team. So I’m really blessed to get to call them teammates.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“My goal is to play football at the college level. I would be honored to play anywhere I’m given an opportunity to compete and to help the program.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Last year was my first season playing football so personally, I’m early in the recruitment process. I have built a great relationship with a few coaches at University of West Florida, and the University of Rochester.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“See above.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Last month I was able to visit the University of West Florida. I loved the campus and was really impressed with the coaching staff and the culture that Coach Nobles is building there.”
Do you have plans for any trips soon?
“No official plans yet but hoping to pick up some more opportunities with coaches/programs in the spring, as well as going to some kicking specific camps, and just continuing to work on my craft.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My mom went to the University of Florida so I grew up a Gator, so obviously the University of Florida would be a dream. My Dad went to Western Carolina, and that’s also another dream school.”
