Apparently, Head Coach of Booker High School Football Team, Scottie Littles, has been fired due to a missing financial donation. More details to come.

Of course not all high football players run track but the fastest should. Florida may still be considered the state with the fastest teams with overall speed. Are they? I don’t know. Here is a list of the top 10 fastest football players that run track on the nation. Here are how the leaders ranked with the state they are from.

This isn’t something we don’t know already. It’s a culture issue. Texans are willing to be taxed more to support their schools, academically and athletically.

I’ve posted this before but one of my sons called me to tell me about this after taking a tour of Eagle Stadium in Allen, Texas. Its capacity is 18,000. It is the fifth largest high school stadium in Texas but the largest for a single high school.

Saw a story on WTVT, Channel 13 Tampa, about the Florida Coaches Coalition that will address the state government of the importance of making coaches pay competitive to other states and at least fair to the hours and work they give to high school athletes in the state. UPDATE: well this video is apparently well on its way to becoming viral. The internet sluths have dox this guy in every way imaginable, he basically lied about everything that came out his mouth..(including his service record), personally I suspected it was pretty much a lie, when his arrest record was published.

I've been hearing rumblings that Booker HS will be traveling to Alabama to play Auburn HS this year. AHS finished 10-1 with their only loss coming in the playoffs. AHS played a 3-8 North Miami team last year and won 49-0. AHS has a 3-star RB who is committed to Auburn University. If this is true, I think this will be a good game for the Booker Nation who has a legitimate chance to win their first state championship.

The first thing I noticed is that they are not playing Cardinal Mooney or Booker this year. Outside of Naples, Manatee, and Venice, the rest of the games should be wins. After this year, Naples will be taken off the schedule also.

Always looking for a way to promote your program. It is away to express that it is a new day at your program which would get people’s attention. Not saying Edgewater did this just to attract players to but I wonder if other programs are looking to do this. Pro and college programs do this to sell new merchandise. It’s probably not a bad idea these days. I would want to keep the traditional logos even if you create new ones.

The FHSSA are suspending Head Coach for providing benefits to players that weren’t enrolled at the school when they were provided. Head Coach Jeff Conaway will include a penalty that is similar to Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh when the Wolverine’s were found violating spying rules on other teams. Conaway will be suspended for a year will be allowed to perform all his duties except he will not be allowed to coach at the games. First Academy will have to pay $36,000 in fines. Playing teams from other states is all the rage. It used to be these games were put together to get on an ESPN channel. That is still true today but games are now playing each other because broadcasts are being streamed. Flavarsity poster, Gridironpromotions, would put these games together.
