Bayshore HS making moves in the right direction

That looks like a local football celebrity coaching staff. I actually met DRC at a youth basketball tournament last summer. Brian Carnes was coaching at Palmetto last year. I’m calling this another Deion effect on a local team. Would love to see Bayshore get their program going in the right direction. They did well when Raymond Woodie was the head coach. If I remember correctly I don’t think he stayed there very long before going to Palmetto.

Bayshore has NFL vet Ace Saunders as the head coach, 12-year NFL vet Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, and Brion Carnes who was played QB at Manatee on staff. Ace Saunders is associated with Blitz University which is a very popular 7on7 organization and Manatee Mustangs Youth Football organization. They are out in the community and have the connections to build a competitive team. I also think they have a good chance of having a winning season for years to come. They finished 1-9 last year and have a 5-24 record over the past 3 seasons.

Florida High School Players in the Super Bowl

For the record, I did not mention any off the field issues any of these players may have had choosing to focus on their football story.

If there is no video with a player I did not find videos I could post or I felt worth posting.

I enjoyed bringing up some of the men that played in the Florida high school football system. With the 14 Florida players in the Super Bowl we can appreciate that our state continues to provide significant talent to the NFL.
