Welcome back SilverKing!

Here's another one that has emergency kits with Ivermectin and HCQ, a lot more expensive.

Manatee 15 Lowndes 30 Final

Shootout, thanks, my favorite was that one hopped long-snap that the holder just nonchalantly fielded, set-up for the long FG. Man Venice looks good on O.

Got a Venice Story. This occurred the week after we beat Manatee in Bradenton (Brion Carnes and Ace Sanders) for the first time since 1949. It was my youngest son's Sr Year, with Alex Mut (USF) and Mike Bellamy (Clemson for a drink of coffee). Venice has Trey Burton and Dri Archer, two NFL bound athletes.

My son is a Slot / TE and had Mono, so they're nursing him all week because they need him to play. On Friday morning, an attractive Doctor at the local clinic (Also happened to have been a Tarpon cheerleader in the 1960s) checks him out and clears him to play My wife wants to be really sure, so makes me ask our friend, also a Tarpon Cheerleader from my years who has a PhD in Nursing, to palpitate him to see if his spleen was enlarged - she agreed it wasn't. I learned during mono they worry about it bursting with contact . Our trainer saw it happen in wrestling.

Venice kicks off, stopped us and scored first. My son was an upback on the receiving team and a hands guy. Bink didn't want to chance him getting hit like the week before when he fielded a late onside kick from Manatee. Trust me, if he had an enlarged spleen then, that hit would have discovered it. So anyway Venice scores he's not on the field and damn if they don't pooch kick it to this kid who was in for him, who quite frankly didn't know what to do. They recover and the route was on.

Now I always wondered if one of their coaches upstairs noticed that on the initial kick-off or if it were coincidence. But man did it work. They beat the dog snot out of us, won the district.

Then we get them in the second round. Now Archer was hurt, but Trey and his guys still had a two possession lead late in the 4th. My youngest caught a huge 3rd down pass from Kyle Midgett (some Venice photographer took a great shot of him going up between three Venice defenders) and Bellamy scored on a 12- yard trap a few plays later to get us within shooting distance. We make a stop and they have to punt. Troy McClary dips to field it (they forever claim his knee was down -wasn't) and returns it 85 yards for the lead with 2 minutes left in the game. Trey was a heck of an athlete, but generally only threw to the middle of the field, we held that two minutes and shocked the heck out of them. Historic year for Charlotte beating both Venice and Manatee.

Manatee 15 Lowndes 30 Final

SK, Venice @ Verot should be high scoring affair. Big time talent all over the field. I’m interested to see how Verot QB Carter Smith does against the Indians defense that has been a little porous this year.

BTW, Gatorman, I also love the illustration in the X post above. Would like to know did that.
Anyone see the Venice MNW game on film? How was that?

Welcome back SilverKing!

Thanks where did you get it?
It's MAILED from the STADIUM that Trump held that rally in India. Connect the DOTS. India is the largest producers of Ivermectin. And yes its legal to get, read RIGHT TO TRY law Trump signed.

5A #1 LAKELAND DREADNAUGHTS @ 7A #2 LAKE MARY RAMS

Lakeland QB’s name is Zander Smith. My grandson and I saw him play his sophomore year the first half of a playoff game for Palmetto vs Lehigh. Had some size on him. Looks kind of like a linebacker. He did not throw much. When he dropped back to pass he would take off running at even the slightest bit of pressure. The backup for Lakeland, Chad Williams, transferred from Auburndale this year. Saw him play for Auburndale in the spring. So I have seen Lakeland’s starting and backup QB’s play live already for other schools. High school football in 2024.

5A #1 LAKELAND DREADNAUGHTS @ 7A #2 LAKE MARY RAMS

This matchup is one of the better matchups in the state Friday night. The lazindex.com has Lakeland as a slight favorite(see Laz’s picks on the thread he posted on the board Wednesday). I will be interested to see if Lake Mary can stand up to Lakeland’s physical style of play. The Dreadnaughts will wear you out if you are not prepared for it. It usually takes an all out effort for 4 quarters to put Lakeland away. Lake Mary counters with Notre Dame commit Junior QB Noah Grubbs. Saw him play eventual 5A State Champion Daytona Mainland last year. Grubbs has a quick and easy throwing motion. Give him some time and he will carve you up.

I just spoke to Flavarsity legend Darterblue2 and he is definitely going to this game. Lake Mary super fan Laz probably won’t be able to make it but I’m sure he will be watching it on the internet. I plan to join Darter there.

Welcome back SilverKing!

Yeah, GA game was the killing blow to the snub, because GA was boiling mad too.

But been through this with Miami when they get going the shoot themselves in the foot. But I've never seen an era of football where so much talent gets beat by such lessor teams.

The Gators are in pretty bad shape too, but I'm pretty happy of how the new QB showed up and the moment wasn't too big for him, wasn't intimidated by the noise for the short few minutes it lasted, and running a new offense. He is a gun slinger and will get picked, but I like that in a QB because he will also make some huge plays that way.

SK, everything that almost could go wrong has so far for FSU. They are abysmal. They are a rudderless ship on both sides of the ball. No leadership on the field. The coaches are to blame as well but last night I primarily put it on the players.

I would not put any emphasis on the Orange Bowl game. The reaction to The Snub probably is. That was extremely difficult to digest. I don’t want to belabor that point because today is today. I would be more than happy to discuss it but that is no excuse for what we’ve seen so far.

It is painfully obvious that DJU is not the answer for this team. The QB Coach Tony Tokarz really thought he could make it work but at this point it is a total failure. Ga Tech and BC loaded the box and dared FSU to throw deep. That is what DJU was supposed to solve with his powerful arm. His lack of mobility is a detriment because the defenses are blitzing for the run and the pass.

FSU has a bye this week. As Gatorman said FSU plays Memphis the following week. Memphis is a good football team. The coaches now have time to correct this team’s issues. At this point make the rest of this season the best it can be. It won’t be pretty.

I predict that the Florida @ FSU game will billed as the fight to get 6 wins and a bowl berth.

Sliver do NOT overtake Ivermectin it will damage your liver. Ivermectin is a cure they have hidden the people. If you NOW go to the CDC website and do a simple search for Ivermectin and Cancer cure you will see it now shows the truth vs PRE 2020 whenever Trump tried telling everybody and nobody listened. He was right about everything.

I had taken it a couple of years ago, kicked out the flu within 24 hours. Didn't have any on stock and sure enough myself and family has the flu or getting over it. I did order some more ivermectin to keep in stock for next time which is normally every few years but I have a hunch many viruses are going to begin disappearing starting in 2025. Just stay away from the flu shots, they are the biggest cause of the flu, people get those shots and spreads the flu to others even though they don't get sick themselves, its called SHEDDING, its a real thing.

Hope you get to feeling better SK, and I still have your Jamaican Mango Tree, two of them in pots whenever you are read for them. Just let me know.

One more thing: None football related.....Did you see the New York times piece on the weight loss drug "Wegovy" and the positive effects its showing with preventing heart issues related to Covid? It doesnt prevent Covid but appears to reduce death rates for individuals that were on it when they contracted Covid...particularly heart realted issues.
Can you post a link, my son's worried - I never got vaccinated.

Welcome back SilverKing!

Oleanders baby. Chino and G.G. Liddy. I kinda like the part where they tumbled California into the sea. On another note- Silver King, I might become a Canes fan yet. It’s only halftime but they have been impressive.
Hey Laz good having you back! Yeah jump on - but at your own risk its been a bumpy ride since the Old Orange Bowl days. Man a rare weekend when the Tarpons and Canes both won.

Welcome back SilverKing!

But on Saturday’s Marty and McGee Tim Tebow said he felt deep in his chest that his heart told him after watching and talking to Gator coaches and players this summer that he just knew the Gators were ready to give their hearts, souls and bodies to the Orange & Blue and it was going to be a It’s Great To Be A Florida Gator day.

I apologize. I couldn’t resist.
That's the first sign of decline - Miami players said that for a couple decades, false swagger.

I agree the Gators aren't a very good team, and I try not to get overly excited about a game like this anymore-am I enjoying it, hell yes. But they beat Texas A&M last year then lost to some teams that defy logic.

But one thing they have finally is a good O-Line paired with a Good QB, Good pass catchers (Distributed the ball to 10 different guys Saturday) , and Good running back.
