STA got out coached big time in the Venice game. 3 of their staff have interviewed for other jobs this year. They couldn’t win anything without superior talent.

So a coach from Venice said they had 17 three-year starters. Whether it was actually the head coach or not is irrelevant.

Transfers are legal if they're done properly.
Matt Laroche lived in North Port. Did he transfer to Venice? I don't know but it doesn't matter.
Venice is trying to get kids from other school zones to transfer for purely football purposes.
So why did Peacock whine when his team got exposed so badly last year?

Look at the facts Venice has 2 kids going to Coastal Carolina, a DT going to USF, and a Corner with mid major offers. If this is the worst STA team in 15 years with 21 D1 guys than they need to be banned from competing for a state title like IMG. Why are you arguing about recruiting? You are allowed to transfer where ever you want now. STA has never been in trouble for recruiting because they're a private school who has been able to get away with it for years. I agree too its great opportunity for kids to get a private school education who without their athletic ability wouldn't be able to. Do not act like the school isn't getting anything from those athletes either though. You can't be that naive...If you need a reference look to the NCAA and the recruitment of student athletes why do Universities spend so much money on their programs? Bottom line STA lost with 21 D1 guys (All of whom I'm sure live within the school district for STA) worst team in 15 years or not. 21 D1 guys...Stop Whining..

You talk all this sh!t about coaching, but when he was at Western my buddy had him catching 88 balls for 1200 yards as a 10th grader, which is how he got his offers to begin with. Your coaches have completely ruined his Junior and Senior year.
If you gave Peacock STA's talent he'd probably win states every year. As someone who is South Florida to the core, born and raised, yall embarrassed us with that performance.

You're not the first person to mistake transferring for recruiting.
Peacock was fined and suspended for recruiting this summer (after the new transfer guidelines went in). Why? Because recruiting is illegal and always has been.
STA is the most scrutinized school in the state and has never been sanctioned because they've never done anything wrong.
Recruiting is illegal. Nobody can get away with it if they're turned in and proof exists.
The football team didn't win anything this year.
But will still put 15-20 kids into college.
