Steinbrenner just wasnt very good for a previously undefeated team, Manatee was called for a ton of penalties. AJ threw for over 300 yards for Manatee and the Manatee TB ran for over 140 yards.

Was at the game and Steinbrenner started off tough, burning us with a couple long passes to go up 7-0. Their quarterback has a nice crisp throw, but he later kept overthrowing guys and missing opportunities. Later on in the first half it was 17-14 Manatee, in what looked like it was gonna be a competitive game. Up 24-14 with 30 seconds left in the 1st half, Manatee almost pulls off a fleaflicker that prolly would have gone for 6, but it was overthrown.
Then the spaghetti dinner carbs must have kicked in to start the 3rd quarter as the canes score a quick 2 touchdowns in 3-4 minutes. The momentum started to feel like the game was over at that point. I'm a bit surprised at the final score honestly.
Yeah, lots of penalties. Everything from roughing the kicker to pass interference to encroachment. Pretty much you name it, we committed it. Hope all the penalties and sometime.
