Manatee had just enough in the 2nd half, to withstand a furious Mitchell 2nd half comeback. Mitchell went down 21-7 at half, with the Manatee defense coming up with a big time goal line stand to keep the score at 21-7. The biggest difference from my vantage point between Pinellas Park and Mitchell was the QB from Mitchell. I thought Mitchell was a well coached team as well.
Region title will be settled at Hawkins Stadium next Friday, with a rematch between Manatee and Venice!
