Manatee hasnt made Venice put once tonight.....so far. Even on the 3rd and long situations, Venice has found a way to convert and keep drives alive. The last 3rd down conversion reaulted in a 70-80 yard TD for Venice just before half. A short pass that with a couple of key blocks and the WR managed to take it all the way.....was a major deflator type of play for Manatee. Go Canes Go!

As it turned out Venice never punted once this game, even on 4th down Peacock went for the 1st down. Manatee in as far as the game plan that prepared for this game offensively, was terrible tonight.......too many 3 and out's! Defensively I thought Manatee played a good game, except for those 3 TD passes to the FSU commit.........it is what it is bottom line. I dont believe Venice is better than Manatee, as much as Peacock was just able to do what he typically has his Venice teams do tonight......Great season regardless!
