I don't see Venice going very far in the playoffs, they offer nothing with regards to explosiveness on offense! Fairly solid defense however with above average team speed on defense. Manatee struggled with finding any kind of consistency on offense, but once the game got to the 4th QT manatee was able to put a couple of solid drives together.........much of that thanks to Johnnie Lang who ended up scoring the games only TD and rushing for 130 plus yards!
One more thing: The Venice freshman QB is awfully mature physically for a freshman, and I thought he was solid at QB for Venice...( considering the kid is just a freshman), if his play continues to improve he's going to be a good one!
