Manatee’s QB Andrew Heidel SI’s Florida 5A Player of the Year

Interesting, I believe there were parts of Andrew's over-all talent base that were surpressed, primarily due to Manatee never having a adequate backup and the risk of injury always hung heavy in Green's mind. If you were to have asked me who I felt Manatee's MVP' on offense were at the conclusion of the season I would have said Keshane Smith or Jalen Bryant. Was probably the best QB at Manatee since Cord Sandberg.
* Heidel was the number 43rd QB in total passing yards for the state of Florida this past season
* 6th over-all in QB rating
* 12th over-all in TD's
* 8th over-all in passing percentage completion rate
Happy for Andrew never the less!
