My favorite week for high school football. As I’ve posted before, if I could clone myself, which in general would not be a good idea, Friday night would be a time I would temporarily do it. A lot of times this week has a lot of the 2 best teams in a class playing each other. In some classes this might not be the case. I think 2A through 6A state finals could be very competitive. 7A is considered the Venice Invitational but maybe I’m foolish but I think Lake Mary with QB Noah Grubbs could get it down if he gets hot. Their top RB Isaiah Thomas is banged up. If he can’t play that would diminish the Rams chances.

The Rural State Final is a rematch from last year with Madison County playing Hawthorne. Hawthorne got the best of Madco last year. The final will be at the Villages Friday night. I would go if it was Saturday night.
