**I’ve decided to post the High School Team list on another thread so post away if you would like**

People that know me know I go to a lot of high school football games each season. I love to see a variety of teams throughout much but not all of Florida. Many times I’ll see teams that may have a top recruit and I don’t even realize it. I started this breakdown so this year that doesn’t happen.

First of all, here are a few explanations:
*AI will eliminate the need to do all this work. It may have done it already🧐. I looked but did not see any yet.
*I wanted to use our Rivals.com list but I couldn’t find a way to get a Florida only list. I used a composite list that used the Rivals.com as part of their calculations.
*It probably won’t be difficult to find mistakes. Believe me, the more I dig into interpreting the info I find more mistakes. If you see a mistake let me know. Gatorman may have a field day🤣.
*I omitted IMG in the calculations because they skew the results. I did include them in the team list so their players will be identified. It is impressive but that’s no surprise. IMG has 16 players rated with 13 in the top 100.
*Players transfer to other high schools and change their college commitments often. For example, Gatorman posted Berkeley Prep’s OT Johnnie Jones recently transferred to Venice. Surprisingly, he was Berkeley Prep’s only entry in the top 200. A college commitment that changed was Windermere’s DB C J Bronough who decommitted from Nebraska then committed to the Gators. He wasn’t the only one.
*I have put together the All 200 First Team with some Honorable Mentions.

TEAMS WITH MOST PLAYERS IN TOP 200
American Heritage Plantation - 9
The First Academy - 9
Northwestern (Miami) - 5
Chaminade-Madonna - 5
West Boca Raton - 5
Vero Beach - 4
Booker - 4
Armwood - 4
Cardinal Mooney - 4
*Even though the privates were 3 of the top 4 the publics held their own.
*The First Academy is on probation this year and are not allowed to compete for a state championship this year. Violations concerning many players on the list contributed to this.

COLLEGES WITH MOST COMMITMENTS IN TOP 200 FROM THE STATE OF FLORIDA
USF - 10
MIAMI - 10
FSU - 6
Syracuse - 5
Florida - 7
FIU - 4
UCF - 4
UCF - 3
Toledo - 3
Louisville - 3
*Look at USF! They are beating the bushes to come up with quality high school recruits. Looks like Head Coach Alex Golesh is evaluating and convincing players that he is building something promising there.
*I should point out that Miami’s and Florida’s commitments are highly rated.
*Miami has many players that are heavily leaning to them but haven’t officially committed. The Hurricanes must believe that this year’s crop of offensive linemen is very good because they are involved with many in the top 200.

*First I will post the All Star Team then
the main in a following post*
*I will post HIGH SCHOOL TEAM list in another thread. It is long so it may take a while*

Currently on my list are the players listed for each high school and commitments for each college. These lists will change as players move, especially college commitments.

RANDOM THOUGHTS
*Favorite player name:
KARAIJUS HAYES from Booker. I’m not sure what the exact pronunciation of the name but I’m guessing it is COURAGEOUS. If that is true you have to give the parents credit for creativity. Who knows? It could be a family name.
*Sticking with names, I did not count them but a lot of the first names seemed to start with the letter J.
*The best area for a high school prospect to get recruited might be in the Jacksonville area. Many players from this area seem to already be committed. Most of them are committed to prominent college programs. Even the players that are not high on the list.

I may add some more to the RANDOM THOUGHTS. Please post your thoughts.

This past week, you had indicated something with a previous post that I wanted to do a deep dive on. So I went to Google AI and asked a basic question. The answer I got immediately caught me eye as 2 of the 5 names it gave I knew were incorrect. When I raised the issue with the AI, it verified my correction by referencing "wekki Pedia".....in my mind I was saying to myself, seriously you verified my correction by referencing "wekki Pedia"?

I know you're high on Will Griffin from Jesuit, any idea where he placed on the final "elite 11" competition that took place last week?

Maybe it’s just me but it always seems to be difficult to find the Elite 11 final results. Here is what I found but it is an interview before the competition. Another interview from the people covering the Elite 11 finals implied there with be something coming discussing the results. The top performers discussed in the video I just watched did not mention Will.
Here is Will’s X page.

Yeah, anything I found that might have had complete results, was always behind a paywall. The only thing that became apparent was that Will wasn't in the top tier. He's a Gator commit, but I've never been high on him. In fact I'm about him like was about Carson Beck coming out his senior season at Manderian HS....Miami will find out this season.......

I like the fact that he can make throws. He is confident. He is mobile enough to run when a play breaks down. I liked him better in the spring game against Lakeland than I did against Clearwater in last year’s playoffs. I think he will be a serviceable QB in college.
