2024 - Average Margin of Victory/Defeat & Breakdown

With a few more games remaining in 2024, Florida schools have thus far played 2936 games against in-state opponents. The average margin of victory/defeat in those contests is 23.9 points. Here's a breakdown of those games with a brief comment regarding my personal view and how I would rate game interest.

Before giving a answer, do you have similar data that goes back more than 1 year? I'd like to see if there is a trend line or perhaps a defined period on time where we can see when changes may have started to happen?

I do indeed. It takes a while to extract. I just ran 2023 and it was uglier than 2024. I'll have to keep going back in time so we can establish a trend. Here's 2023:
