Not necessarily a "conspiracy", Dan. I'm thinking maybe just one player or person who had it in for Grier, saw that he was taking a substance that was not allowed, and brought it to the attention of the NCAA. The NCAA was then obligated to investigate. Happens all of the time. Funny thing that the NCAA doesn't seem to be worried about some of the hard drugs, including Marijuana which is still illegal, that are being consumed by a large portion of the college athletes daily. They also don't seem to be very concerned about an athlete raping or molesting a female. But, let's bust a guy who used an minor OTC item and ban him for a year. Something just not right about this whole scenario. I am hoping that a decent investigation is done to determine if any extenuating circumstances are evident. Hate to see a decent guy like Will Grier be railroaded if that was what is was.
