It looks like Venice will be playing Chaminade this year (from what I've heard). This will be an intriguing matchup. Venice has gone to the state championship game 4 straight years bringing 2 of them home. Chaminade has also been to the state championship game the past 4 years winning all 4. I'm not sure where the game will be played but it will be a great one regardless. Are there any matchups that you would like to see this year?

I would like to see:
Booker vs. Manatee (Both teams are capable of making a deep playoff run)
Cardinal Mooney vs. Palmetto (I would love to see Coach Marino up against his former team)
St. Stephens vs. Bayshore

Manatee lost all of its skilled talent on offense, and 2 of it's starting 5 off the offensive line. Defense other than the starting MLB...everyone has to be replaced...not with standing any transfers, this will be a major rebuild effort for Green next season and a true measure of his and his staff's ability to coach up the talented young squad.
Much was made of the JV team going undefeated, but the game against Jesuit wasnt played and Venice was missing from the schedule as well.... so the undefeated record is alittle deceiving....the year before the JV team lost 2 games, being manhandled by the Venice JV team and losing to either Riverview or Palmetto (cant remember which team)
