Was thinking more about the ST John Bossco game, and since the game is apparenty being played at Manatee......I focused on finances. Manatee doesnt put enough asses in seats anymore, to supplement the cost involved with helping defer those cost involved with bringing a team from CA into Bradenton. Im going to specualte at this point, but its leads me to wonder if a certain law firm in Bradenton has stepped in to help financially. Also one of the lawyers working at this law firm, has a son that plays QB. I personally dont feel this young man even come close to matching the talent base of last years starting QB, and had hoped Green would lean to the kid with a "Sanders" last name to be next year's QB. The Sanders kids is way more atheletic and would be a Soph next season, and I believe is more talented....granted at his point I'd deem it more raw potential then anything else. Wondering now if the decision for who the staring QB will be next year at Manatee, hasn in fact already been made for the coaching staff? Bottom line with or without transfer being part of the equation, I felt Manatee was probably 2 years away from being able to match the success from this past season. No reason why Manatee didnt make every effort to get Cardnial Mooney and Venice on the schedule this season, yet neither team is?
I saw on the other board where the general consensus was, putting St John's on the schedule was a means to lure talent to Manatee in as far as transfers were concerned. I wouldn't rule that mindset out completely either. St John's was incredibly young team last year, only losing twice to Mater Dei last year. This if the roster remains relatively intact, should be a even better team than it was last year!
Update:
* Logan Rogers - QB appears to have transfered into Manatee, has played at Tampa Bay Tech and Hillsbourgh HS previously 6'3" 210lbs
* Luke Newell - OL appears to have transfered into Manaee, was enrolled previously at Tampa Plant HS
