The CURSE

Last week I go to a Hardee Wildcat game, first time since the loss to Jefferson in 2018. I thought to myself, they may have a chance to get past the first round.

I go tonight to my second game since 2018 and sure enough that curse was all over Hardee. The center (snapper) was injured so he was out and the backup snapper caused a few fumbles and could not get anything going. The WR receivers dropped more balls than they completed and they could not get anything going whatsoever.

The defense gave up towards the end of the 3rd quarter and you can tell that curse was all over them.

Well, I see Ft Meade who was demolishing everybody also lost. I guess the 11 players that went up there did not make much of difference because it appears the curse was on the 11 that transferred up there.

Laugh all you want to, there is a real curse on this team, in the locker room or at the school itself.

TIme for a change at the very, very, very top and I am NOT speaking of the HC. I think they are great people and hopefully they stay but at the very top there needs to be a change all over the place up there. Just being honest, don't hate the messenger. Whenever your schools begins to "go woke" you know a change is needed.

If it is a curse like you say, who is or what is the reason for the curse? Wokeness is pretty much at almost every school. There must be a separate and deeper reason or reasons. Would you please expound?

How about Booker rising from the ashes of multiple disastrous seasons and coaching changes.

First round playoff loses aren't something unique to Hardee. It's been 10 years since we won a playoff game. Leesburg beat Auburndale for their first playoff win in like 15 years or something. What I see is our total lack of depth. We don't have a lot of players on the roster and never have. How many times does it happen when a key starter gets injured late in season and the backup just isn't ready to make the start but it's all we got? Overall, this season was a move in the right direction. 8-3 is a big improvement from 1-8. From what I've ascertained, all those transfers left last year. I counted 22 juniors on our current roster. Hopefully they all return and we have a better season next year. My question for all those who did transfer is why and did it really benefit you? I get why one or two might have but to all the others, what did you get out of it?

Lastly- I doubt the Hardee coaches read this- we need a special teams coach. Not an assistant who coaches special teams on top of whatever else, but someone who does nothing but special teams. Special teams play has been an issue for a long time, way before the current head coach.

Something is going on, to have 10-12 players each year transfer out for the past few years, you cannot keep blaming the other schools and you need to start looking within to see what the problem is. If players are transferring out and saying "Its because favoritism year in and year out" then maybe there is some validity to it. Hardee's best players has been playing either in Ft Meade or Sebring.

Myself, like I said I don't go to the games anymore, I quit football years ago, so I don't know the full story so I am going by "what I hear".

Well, then you rely on the accuracy and whatever bent the person has you're listening too. But since you stepped away FHSAA in their infinite wisdom has released full blown free agency. Not sure if you heard, but players can transfer to another school during the season, and only have to sit out 6 days.

Correct but FHSAA cannot tell a school that they must allow those players who transfers out to transfer back in the same school year. This is how you fix that issue. What they are doing is going to Ft Meade or Sebring then most likely after "football" for example, they transfer back. The school has every right to stop this by creating a simple policy barring these players from coming back. There is not a law that I know of that forbids this.

It isn't only FHSAA it's those in the private school sector aka LAWMAKERS who are sending their kids elsewhere, they cry about "School choice" which I am all for as long as it's for INSTRUCTIONAL PURPOSES ONLY not sports. 90% of the transfers do not even go to college. I think ONE of the transfers who went to Ft Meade signed with UF in baseball as did Hardee's QB, so there was some competition going on.

Yes there may have been a little favortism, that is evident with the QB and his UNCLE being the OC but that QB was QB on the varsity team since 9th grade and he earned it so I can understand the whole point of view in this. The others kept transferring out, then back to Hardee after football then back out again whenever football season started. This is where a policy needs to be in place to stop this. FHSAA has ZERO authority just like the FDA and CDC has ZERO authority to tell you and me what we can and cannot do. FHSAA is NOT a governmental agency, if they were they would have the .gov on their website domain name. They were only established to oversee the honesty and rules in sports, nothing else and they cannot tell a school what policies they can and cannot create.

FHSAA is being ran by "private school" lobbyist, just like the FDA and CDC are being ran by ex-Big Pharma employees who all have an agenda.

BTW Silver King, you never got with me on the fruit tree. My son looked it up, its a Jamaican Mango tree. It sprouts thousands of Mangos. I have hundreds of them if you still want one.

BTW I finally had cervical neck surgery on March 31, 2023 after 13 years of suffering. I forced the Veteran Affairs to pay for it and I had Neurosureon Dr. Hershkowitz in Pt Charlotte/Punta Gorda do the surgery. I have very little arm pain but that is post surgery stuff and the headaches that I dealt with since March/April of 2020 are gone. Now I deal with lumbar spine issues and UPPER cervical spine issues but I can manage them. Interesting it took TRUMP to change policies inside the VA so veterans like myself can get things done. If it wasn't for him I would still be suffering, bank on it, because the VA is full of socialists or was before he came into office.

And here is WHY I approve school choice for INSTRUCTIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Watch these videos and what HUSSEIN OBAMA caused.

This is EMBARRASSING to the United States and shows what THEIR AGENDA was. This is about SAVING OUR CHILDREN because they have DUMBED them down. I pulled my daughter out of public school in 2020 and she now is home schooled. She knows more than most of the students who are at her grade level because the home schools provides the criteria WE USE TO LEARN in schools as kids.
