Lifted from Josh's board (FloridaHSfootball.com) from posters: "James ricks", and "BrowardHandicapper."
Floridagames.myspectrum.com (Brighthouse is now Spectrum)
Thanks to the FHSAA all O-TOWN games this weekend are $20 each (minimum). Surely, like last year, Water $5, Pepsi $6, and Parking $10. Enjoy...

Edit : FHSAA web page was incorrect. All Friday and Saturday games are $12 general admission. Pepsi was cut .50 to $5.50.

You can live stream them for free if you are a customer right? I have been able to do this in the past....
BD, I don't know why that wouldn't work as long as your "My Services" account with Brighthouse is up to date. Getting ready to watch a little 1A action (1pm) on Ch.1147, no computer, just TV. Heading over to Orlando for the 4A in a few hours.
* Also on Ch. 47 for non HD TV's. I'M sure all other coverage areas have the same choices.

The FHSAA webpage were wrong. All games for Saturday is been cancel. The people in the hood next to the stadium is gonna be playin paintball in the parking lots wiff real guns. Those who can manage to park they car and get to the ticket booth alive win their choice of a free bottle of Thunderbird or MD20/20, but it will cost them $200 (cash only) to git they car back.

You know... the Citrus bowl isn't in a good neighborhood . ... But does anyone on here know anyone that has ever been mugged shot robbed or anything bad happen to them?

I don't i know we joke about the area but it looks worse than it really us. Good folk down there.

Murders have occurred within blocks of the stadium on Championship weekend(s), but don't believe none of them have ever involved spectators. One year a guy was killed in the parking lot of a chicken restaurant in which Nu'Trelle had ate at earlier in the day.

Nothin personal, peezy, but murder statistics prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that life comes very cheap in that part of Orlando.

Neutral... could you please provide some evidence of what you speak... Not saying I don't take your word but I lived in Orlando for most of the years the state title game was held there I never remember this incident you speak of. If that did happen and on a weekend with a big event in town I am sure it was covered by the news.

Neutral... I think your paranoia of urban areas is over-exaggerated in your older age... Surely young Neutral would not be as paranoid.

Not taking it personal... Its just I lived there and never felt the danger you speak of.

Dan, Wave, Darter, Mac, Mark, Laz and the rest of you fellas be careful, tread lightly and stay packing... I think you have put yourself in a dangerous situation and your life could be in danger today.

I know you guys got street cred though so just hang out with the Carol City folk they will protect you.

I think they've gotten a better handle on it as of late. When I was in college at UCF (2005-2010) Orlando murder rates were at all time highs. There were 2,374 violent crimes in Orlando last year. Statistically making it safer than 2% of America. That being said I'm with you peezy, I personally never felt in danger when I was at ucf games at the citrus bowl. My first game ever was the one where the undercover cop was mistaking my killed.

There is definitely danger in most major cities in the US. Orlando nonwithstanding. I just never felt my life in danger while attending a game at the Citrus bowl.

I am sure if I went into Pine Hills looking to buy drugs or try to scam someone or rob someone that I could probably get killed sure... Just not watching a football game in the hood. I have been to all the inner city schools to see games too not just the citrus bowl and never felt in danger.

Maybe its just me.

C'mon Peezy, those Carol City folk were fine. Plus they were the best traveling team that played in the Fish Bowl in any of Charlotte's 9 home games this season, by three times the amount. That's a long way across the Alley and they filled the visiting stands.

I talked to 8 or 10 of them before and after the game. Including #1's parents; the WR commit to the U. They were good folks.

Oh i agree with you. Im just saying i doubt they are in fear for their life attending the Citrus bowl so it you want to be safe chill with them.

Big event? Yeah ... the football championships.

Covered by the news? Yeah ... I read it online in the Orlando Sentinel the day following. and said to myself, "That coulda been me."

You tend not to forget chit like that, but I inadvertently forgot to print out "evidence" and keep it on file for you.

If you need more verification than that, park your ass in front of a computer and run searches for murders that occurred within blocks of the stadium in early December of those years when the Championships were held.

Its actually easier to find than ya think... i did try to find something no such luck so i guess we just gotta take your word that Neutral could've been killed going to a chicken place in the hood while attending thr state finals.

You couldn't find anything after an exhaustive 29 minute search? Yeah, no question about it then. If you think it didn't happen, nothing happened.

You know us youngins know how to use google search pretty well.. took all of 10 minutes to realize it wasn't anywhere on the Orlando Sentinel or cf13news 9 websites.. nomsayin

But actually i searched alot earlier when you 1st said something about being at a chicken spot (no name chicken spot apparently) near the citrus bowl where someone was murdered

Let's find out what how much you trust google. It 's 4:20 pm EST. You got until 4:30 pm EST to say you want to bet $1,000.00 (One thousand dollars) on the fact that you're right and I'm wrong. Winner donates the money to charity. What you got to say about THAT, sweet lips????

Well, well, well. peezy always got a set of real quick lips ... but unfortunately, sometimes he don't know $hit from Shinola

Atleast Peezy dont make up fake murders at nameless chicken spots in the hood of Orlando

At least Peezy don't make up fake murders at nameless chicken spots in the hood of Orlando.

At 6:07 pm, you're back here calling me a liar? After I offered you the chance to back up your trash with some cash? That makes you a complete fool.

Yea well... why would i bet you if i believe you made up a story . .... I mean if i truly believe that then i probably don't think you'd hold up your end of a bet either..

Just sayin.

I'll be a fool and ill be wrong i guess. You win

Did some one say Chicken ? Got to the stadium about 1:15 Saturday for the 3:00pm 6A championship game. Couldn't locate this years crew ( Wavebb, MarkCannon,Darter, Lazl, and 307mac. Walked a I/2 mile east, unescorted to Orange Blossom Trail. Entered Texas Fried Chicken, long line, one guy working the front by himself, exited establishment. Crossed OBT, walked a block north, also unescorted, entered Church's Fried Chicken. One guy in front of me at the counter. Ordered a #1 two piece (white), fries, honey biscuit, and a medium coke. Sat at a small table and ate my meal. The staff could not have been more friendly. They were talking about the high school games when I entered, and still 25 minutes later when I exited. Crossed over OBT and walked west back to the stadium. Still no sight of the Flavarsity crew. A long time friend owns a couple grass parking lots west of the stadium so I walk over to "kill" some time. As long as the high school games have been held in Orlando, I have parked in the HOOD. Day and night, year after year, after year, after year, etc, etc. Never been hit up for money, dope, or a female companion. Two times by myself, and few times with the crew we have walked the mile or so down to Church Street Station for food and adult beverages between games. At no time have I or anyone of us as a group been approached by Orlando's low income area residents. Maybe it's luck or maybe a superior being was watching out for us middle to old age guys. Who knows, certainly not I.... To Neutral, all I can say is unlike many of his fictional tails, everything I've just written is true and really did happen. For him to have grown up many years ago on the tough inner city streets of Boca....ah..Columbus, Ohio, he sure has turned into a candy a$$ senior citizen..... Man up, chump.
