SK appreciated being called a defensive whiz, but its not all that difficult like these great mind coaches make it seem on here; just get your four fastest girls out to set the edge and have a crazy girl in the middle.
Tonight his Senior girls faced a Junior team that ran the spread and threw the ball like some 4-Wide Miami / Dade Team. Couple of big phillies throwing and catching, SK had to make some adjustments on the slide. But it was all good, and the seniors came out on the good end 48-22. We won with this same team as juniors last year and when they had a spring game against this same team when they were 9th and 10th graders, good kids.
A number of years back we also won with a junior team where we had to call a time out with 2 seconds on the clock. A soccer girl split the uprights from 32 yards out to win it. SK kept yellin' "I'm going to Disney World."
