Question for the Professionals

In high school football think about going to a district game and the price is more than regular season ticket price. The host school does not set the price the FHSSA does. If I remember the gate fees to district, regional or state playoff games go directly to FHSSA. Concession and parking would go to the host school.

I believe it is set in the fhsaa policy handbook, but there is actually a split. I believe the school shows how much money was taken in. They pay for the ticket takers, security, and officials. The rest is split between the host/away/and FHSAA, I think at a 40/40/20 split.

The cost of traveling to playoff games can be very expensive. Why would you want to take money away from a school that wins championship? Am I misunderstanding you?
