Orlando Jones should be better this year. While it was ugly on many fronts, Jones did well in flashes in a 21-8 loss to Dr. Phillips (40 minute game with reserves and second teamers mixed in with starters on both sides basically the whole game).

Both teams got to see a number of guys play. I think that Jones will be a team to watch. They were an interesting match up for DP because they are VERY quick to the outside and can extend plays. Good backs on offense and defense. I counted about 45 players for Jones and about 60-65 for DP. Jonathan Pollock (LB) and Emare Hogan (RB/WR) did not play for DP. Both were walking on sidelines.

It was great seeing Jones in our stadium for the first time since 1998.

Also keep an eye on safety James Green for Dr. Phillips. Big hitter, our best safety in years (since Marcell Harris and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix). He's one of many juniors that will be a major factor for this team.

DP should dress 2 freshmen, 16 sophomores and more juniors this year on varsity. While Jones does not have many players, it looked like they had depth. There aren't too many players for Jones that just stand around. Lots of talent on that small roster.
