What a freakin' game to watch on the first weekend. This is such a better product then the NFL puts out, everythiing about it, from Game Day right through.

The Buechelle kid's dad was 3rd baseman Steve Buechelle, one of the favorite Texas Rangers who was at Spring Training here in Charlotte County for years - he actually had the first hit in the Spring Training Stadium where the Rays hold spring now. ND also had the MLB connection with Tory Hunter's kid.

Buechelle throws the best long ball of any freshman I've seen in a while. He had another TD dropped, and the one he underthrew drew an INT call. And that #18 is a beast. Although as someone who has been in a huddle with a two platoon system, it causes issues. Timming of cadence for getting off the ball, confidence in approach, etc.

Looking forward to see what Peezy's Noles do tonight and how Cook cranks it up.

I only saw when the game was tied 7-7 but it clearly looked like Texas was dominating. Every once in a while Notre Dame would make a good play but not always.

ND came back with 21 unanswered, then blocked a PAT and ran it back for 2 - just an incredible game for the first weekend, no matter what happens tonight this has already been the best ever. Again, never have as many ranked teams gone down as have in this week.

The game was good, but Notre Dame probbley woulda won easy if the cops hadn't get involve. Cops arrested 5 of the Irish in 2 separate incidences less than 2 weeks ago. Just like Colin Kaepernick would tell you, it was nothin other than straight oppression of minorities that did the players in.

One kid, a Sr. starting CB, were throwed off the team. All he did was get found with an unregister handgun and a few drugs. What the fools in charge of Notre Dame think? A college student from South Bend s'posed to drive to Rochester, IN and buy some drugs wiff no hardware? Where these faculty fools grow up at?

Hopefully, the NFL will not turn their back on this particular kid. In fack, ideally he get draft by SF. Then he could join Kaepernick in kneeling-out the National Anthem to rightfully show his indignation fo' the system that tryin to oppress him and his teammates for breakin a few laws here and there in nothin more than a hick USA town.
