Sloppy game all the way around. Manatee turned the ball over the 1st two times they had the ball which accounted for Palmetto's 3 points. Manatee had 4-5 turnovers for the game. Palmetto's offense is terrible, so its hard for me to get all excited about the Manatee defense playing better.......because the Palmetto offense is just that bad. AJ couldn't hit the board side of a barn tonight when he attempted a pass and Josh Booker fumbled 3 times himself...........Bottom line this goes down as a win, but it was a win that shouldn't have anyone getting all hyped up........sloppy win bottom line!

1.) Joshua Booker (RB)- formerly a (RB)at Sarasota HS; 2.) William Ivey Junior (SS) - formerly a (RB) at Southeast HS; 3.) Shane Hooks (WR) - formerly a (WR) at Timber Creek HS; 4.) Jaylen Striker(FS) - formerly a (QB) at Alonzo HS; 5.) Hayden Brewer (WR) - formerly a (WR) at Cardinal Mooney HS; 6.) Gary White (LB) - formerly a (RB) at Northeast HS; 7.) Carter Sysak (DE) - formerly a (Tackle) at (Tampa) Riverview HS; Young Man by the name of "Quay Mays 6'3" 265" now on the 2016 Manatee Roster, that wasn't on any Manatee roster last year ...
Was worried about Manatee's chances earlier when you posted info on only 8 transfers and none of them came from further away than the Tampa area. Ideally, the list should have been 18-20 deep and included players from a much larger geographic area. It's important to remember that in order to be truly dominant you cannot stop bringing new players on-board until you have cleaned-out the all-stars from every school in your portion of the state.

Neutral, Actually one player came from the Miami area and regarding the "truly dominant" comment.............I believe the level of dominance this program with its current leadership at the helm, will strive to be competitive on a yearly basis and nothing more. If you want a true all-star team Bradenton just happens to field one of those types of teams however........... that being IMG

No need to be modest. Manatee deserve to be a nationally-respeck team. Thus they need to step up their transfer program. Next year when you post the transfers, they should be several of Armwoods best players on there. Also you guys should consider contacking SPCJessica03. She know who all the private school players who is got a boxful of offers. The Hurricanes have the type of program that can attrack a kid who have 20-25 offers.

Get out there. Get aggressive. And above all, get cut-throat. You can do it.

If Palmettos offense is that bad is Palmettos defense that good or Manatees offense that bad? Maybe they are just not that good as expected like the previous years.

I am going with Palmetto offense must be bad... Manatee gave up 78 points in one week....
Watched the Trussville game Friday night against Gadsden HS. Gadsden HS is currently 0-3 and yet they were able to hold Trussville to 28 points for the entire game. So yeah if Manatee is holding Palmetto to 3 points after giving up 78 the week before to a Trussville team that can only put 28 points on the scoreboard against a 0-3 team the next week , I say odds are Palmetto's offense is probably just that bad.................
* The 3 teams Gadsden HS lost to are all still undefeated, so that 0-3 record could be a bit deceiving........ :D

People read a lot into that Manatee / Armwood game. Although a couple said the Wood was more into working on its passing game then worrying about winning.

Perfeck. Gotta love yer logic :p

Transcript of mass murder suspect in custody, being interviewed:

Shooter:
"Man, why you guys leanin on me? This is oppression."
Detectives: "We got 25 bodies at a crime scene and you wiff a automatic weapon."
Shooter: "That ain't nothin. What about the dude who shot 50 in Orlando?"

CoachMacho, you're from Miami and come on here talking about the HS football atmosphere in Bradenton on a Monday afternoon...(labor day Monday)????? What part of Miami were you from, that led you to make such absurd HS football comparisons?

It don't get any better than Miami HS football, where in between touchdowns you can make a bet on the over/under, while also dodging bullets.

Bradenton doesn't have any HS bands like this either:
