Have You Ever Been Banned?

Was having a conversation the other day with some friends and this subject came up. Have you ever been banned from a message board?

I think I may have discussed this before on FLAVARSITY but I was banned from this very message board. When I first started on here my board name was UNCLESALUKI. My nephew played at Southern Illinois therefore my board name. Anyway, I was at the 2005 State Finals at what is now Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. I was there with some friends to see Booker play St. Augustine for the 3A title. It was the first time I ever met Wavebb and LAZL. In between games (Lakeland vs STA was the night game) we visited an establishment where more libations were consumed than food. Long story short we got back to Sarasota about midnight where I lived at the time. Exhausted and still feeling the effects I got on my computer and went on a rant about Lakeland. The next morning I was awakened by a phone call from Wavebb. He informed me I was banned from FLAVARSITY. I think it lasted a week. My thread had lit a firestorm among Dreadnaught fans.

Now, I know for a fact some posters have been banned from here or another site. Entertain us and fess up. It’s good for the soul. You may have been fighting the good fight. Would love to hear it.

I've been banned here as well as the other site...(which is still in effect). I've shared my stories of my bannings, at the most recent gathering at Beef's in Punta Gorda. My banning here came from me telling Steve Berrey to "chill baby, tension retards the flow" Mark Langston lifted the ban within days, as Steve's reason for banning me was due to Steve interpreting my statement on "tension retards the flow" was that I called him a "retard"
My banning at the other board steemed from a disagreement I had with Columbia Fan, over state funding IMG received. Columbia Fan's take was that the state of Florida was providing IMG a unfair advantage (primarily it's football program), that Florida public HS weren't receiving. When I tried to correct Columbia Fan take , that those state revenue were related to tourism, as IMG sports facility exceeds it's competitive hs sports programs to training for all levels of competitive sports...he edited my post utilizing his then moderator role. Things digressed to where I basically disparage the sites owner for not properly managing the site, in addition to allowing individuals to hold moderator roles, that clearly weren't mature enough to handle those roles....I got banned.
