Florida student population report

Wow Armwood at 2203 would be in 7a if we were on the 2 year cycle of updating districts

Charlotte is at 2027, had an increase this last year. Port Charlotte, across the river dropped to 1557. Both are in 6A so the Tarpons will likely end up in 7A next time too. PC may drop down from 6A.

Both Gulf Coast and Palmetto Ridge are east of I-75 and either near or over 2000 students. We may have a 7A district down here soon. Maybe Charlotte and a few Ft Myers schools will be in it also.

I thought the original agreement was at the two year mark of the four year district they would take a look at population size and if a team increased or decreased by X-amount or percentage they would move. Several schools should be moved according to the new population report.

Original is a school's population must increase or decrease by 20% from 2014 to 2016 for them to change into a new district.
