“Football has become soft like our country has become soft,” Trump said at a campaign rally today, to cheers from the audience

Nice - I'm starting to like this idiot.

Today he said he "loved the poorly educated" this means he loves all of us on Florida Varsity .com

Why? Because, as a retiree, I hear his name all day long on television. I'm already tired of this campaign and we have 9 months left until the election.

But, it is rather funny that all the other republican candidates did not take him seriously. Jokes on them!

What ever happened to "blind eyes"...(?)
Blindeye was doin okay when his son was concentrating on becomin a pro baseball and football player, but then they determine the boy were a bonafide prospeck in 23 other sports. Things started goin downhill after blindeye moved to Norway so his kid could concentrate on curling. While they was over there it was discover that the boy was also a natural-born America's Cup yacht racer. Blindeye was tryin the raise $$$ to build a 50' foiling catamaran when he had the first of 6 nervous breakdown. Word have it that all the videos is posted on You Tube.

Trump filed bankruptcy on a casino. I'll let that soak in a little bit. If you're still planning on letting him run the country you must be a slots player.

Your right...Jeb, Perry, Christi, Kasich and a few others appear to be idealistic dreamers as was Don Quiote in the book of the same name..

Quiote? Christi? Apparently the cadre at Don Bosco don't be real big on spellin. Maybe your parents might be able to get them a refund?

When you buy your education at an over-priced Ivy League school, does that make you smarter than others?

What's the definition of "poorly educated?" Bet you he couldn't give one. I know a lot of college graduates who could be considered "poorly educated." I also know many people who never went to college who are brilliant.

He has got to stop talking in stereotypes. And, I wish he's quit insulting everyone. No candidate for ruler of the free world should talk that way!

If Trump is voted in, then the theory that ANYONE can become President of the United States is finally validated.

Truth of the matter - odds are that the Republicans do not currently have a candidate who can carry the vote and win the Office.

Good stuff BP, now of course, lets not forget the Washington Elite: have run us trillions of dollars into debt; bail out banks; kneel at the alter of big oil; keep the fat cats of the military industrial complex fat -and keep us in those long term wars that old President Ike warned us about. Dem or GOP, don't make a freakin' bit o' difference, because their form of bankruptcy is on the backs of us middle class worker bees and our chilins' - so we're screwed either way.

The Wizard of Oz types behind the curtain run things and they got it as fine tuned as IMG baby.

SK kinda glad he on the down slope because America; its gonna get ugly up in here. Now SK gonna head for the Bay and the fish camp and soak a little adult beverage and re-live the glory days with some old football buddies who are fortunate to have played when football was still "tough," and a son or two who will have to face the shit storm a comin'. SK gonna prolly soak his skull so much he don't has ta think 'bout it no mo! There's an old Punta Gorda sayin' "I'll think about it tomorrow."

Forget about uniting America, Trump is creating such bitterness (e.g., labeling his closest rivals a "liar" and a "low-life") there is no way he'll succeed at mending fences and reuniting his own Party.

What really upsets me is that Obama was elected based on the fact that he was not a DC insider (in his first term in the senate) and he promised tremendous change. However, we have three arms of government and one of them refused to work with him. We haven't seen any decent legislation written into law in quite some time.

You know, Newt Gringrich's "Contract with American" included term limits for Congress and I totally agreed with that concept. We have them in Florida. The President has term limits. Why not Congress? A government of the people is not of the people when only one person occupies a seat for 40 years!

Hey Peezy, I thought that you weren't going to let this become a political message board?

Trump has pursued more than 500 visas for foreign workers at Mar-a-Lago (Trump's club in Florida) since 2010. In that same period, nearly 300 hundred U.S. residents have applied for jobs at the club, and only 17 were hired.

Yet, Trump has argued that companies like Disney should be forced to rehire any Americans it had overlooked or replaced. What about Trump and his company? Trump also has said, "If I am President, I will not issue any H-1B visas to companies that replace American workers and my Department of Justice will pursue action against them."

Does that include his own company?

All time favorite from the Republican Debate - Rubio: "Trump you are the only person on this stage that has hired illegals - Trump: "I'm the only one of this stage that has hired anyone so shut up"

Dr. Pepper hired me and look at what it's done for them.

Speaking of SOFT...

According to the recent polls...

The DP Corporation currently ranks 5th among SOFT drinks...

4. Mountain Dew
3. Pepsi-Cola
2. Diet Coke
1. Coca Cola

So have y'all moved up or down in the polls Larry...

Nice try Jambun I said I wouldn't let it get out of hand . This is not what I would consider out of hand would you?

Look this is an election year so some talk of politics is okay but if we have 10 threads active and like half or more are politics then yeah maybe its out of hand and we need to get back to football...

Also if the left and right mud swinging starts is when it will get put out to pasture.

Every body always talk about "out of hand" like it's a bad thing. Seem like havin things "in hand" could be jus as bad ... or maybe worse, specially if a man have his hand in his pocket, nomsayin?

Peezy, you know exactly what I am talking about. When political points-of-view that you do not agree with were discussed on this message board, you quickly posted that this would not become a political message board. I pointed out that the likes of Silver King, and Choctaw Fan give their political opinions all the time, then you backtracked and claimed that "as long as it doesn't get out of control" political opinions are welcomed on this message board. Larry Culpepper posted some good common sense points, and I don't know how anybody could have a problem with them. You apparently did, and that was why you made the post.
