Can't fault them for the plan, maybe, but they didn't seem to be able to figure out too quickly that it wasn't working. Their team is down 21 at halftime. TV coverage clearly showed Clemson's defensive players had themselves a lot more screwed up than the Buckeyes.
The Buckeyes, on the other hand, concentrated on delivering a steady stream body blows and, whenever an opening occured, they've hit Clemson in the mouth as hard as they could. Clemson has to be in their locker room wondering what in the Hell hit them.
