Congrats Binky Waldrop, 6A Coach of the Year

Great coach, who put together a great Tarpon staff that all work wonders with getting the most out of a little talent. Nice that his fellow coaches acknowledged that. Occasionally our 170 lb. guards and DTs, 160 lb. MLBs run into bigger and more talented opposition, but they've been coached to give it there all and that's what people in Punta Gorda have come to expect. This is his fourth 12 win team; three in the last 8 years and I was blessed that two of my three were on two of those Tarpon teams.

SK, I was sorry to see that after a recount, they gave 6A Coach if the year to the Armwood coach. That certainly doesn't take away from the great season Coach Waldrop and the Tarps had, though.
