I was able to check out Booker's Purple and Gold game yesterday and they look really good. Booker strength's is their receiving core, QB and defensive line. Their WRs are top notch, with speed and size. They're QB is smooth, good arm, pocket passer. The weakness is the offensive line and RB. They're offensive line will do good against average d-line but they are not big and not physical at all. They have to scat back type running backs, but they need a big back to get the tough yards. I can see Booker getting to the final four again hands down, they are stacked with local talent.

Shoring up the OL sounds like the key to how far the Tornadoes will go. Can’t find a RB? Booker? Maybe RB’s know the OL won’t give them room to run. I’m assuming the quick pass offense will be what they run mostly. The DL could keep them in some games. They might need go both ways some, especially in big games.

The 2 starting backs have good vision, lighting fast, but very small. They have an 8th grade running back that will be there next year. He is about 5-10 205, big bruiser type of back but it may take him a while to get accustomed to varsity high school football so hopefully he can catch on fast. If Booker comes across a couple solid offensive lineman, I can see them winning their first state championship.
