Collectives with plenty of cash get to throw it around in 2025 since there will be the $20.5 cap in 2026. Obviously, the Canes are one of those schools hence the large amount used to obtain Carson Beck’s services.
Not sure if the equitable distribution of the $20.5 million will be challenged in court. Seems like it might be argued that higher revenue generating sports should get a larger portion.

Taking Beck is a huge mistake, I've said it since his senior year at Manderian and to number of UGA folks before this season started. Beck is a average QB at best, who benefitted greatly the year before having a number of NFL caliber wr's. Both he and Arian Smith need to go after other sports..Beck baseball and Smith - Track if they hope to compete at a pro level beyond the college ranks
