2024 Poster of Year Nominations

It has been a brutal year for elections, and I know the last thing most want to do is vote again. But we have a tradition, so buck up buttercup and get your nominations in.

Rules:

1) To keep up with the times, there will be no attempted assaninations or holding coups and switching your nominations at the last minute. Your nominee doesn't even have to have posted, debated, or campaigned to be nominated.
2) To vote, you don't even have to have ever been on this board before.
3) You get a single nomination if you only list a name; you can have two nominations, but only if you supply a sentence of support for each.
4) Nominations must be submitted prior to the ball dropping at midnight on New Year's Eve.

I’ll start by nominating the legendary poster, highly knowledgeable football mind and a good friend of mine who I will sorely miss. That would be Darterblue2. With his retirement, he has decided to relocate so I believe we should send him off with the honor as the FLAVARSITY POSTER OF THE YEAR. With all due respect, this choice is a no brainer.

I am nominating that statistical rascal, LAZL.

His Lazindex is on full display as we type. The numbers wizard of Florida Prep Football provides some very interesting looks (the numbers don't lie) to us often emotional, partisan fans. And he's been doing it for Florida high school football for a very long time.

My second nomination is TheCatCoachesMissesMe. No more emotionally attached poster to his team on this board than Cat.

No poster has kicked their team to the curb and come roaring back as a fan as many times as Cat. Because down deep he loves his team.

Where Laz provides the stone cold statistical view of high school football, Cat is the more common emotional, hysterical, "can-stands-so-much-than-I-can't-stands-it-no-more" view.
