Mick usually starts with JJF. SK saw the Stones on Univ. Colorado Football Field 1978 - awesome line up that Sunday with Peter Tosh, Eddie MOney, Kansas and the Stones. Like Keith Richard said getting off the plane in Havana: "This is what happens when you ban things."

Why were they banned originally?

Not just them, the communists felt Rock and Roll, in general was decadent and harmful to youth, kind of like the American establishment felt in the 1950s just as Macon, Georgia's Little Richard and Tupelo, Mississippi's Elvis Presley were inventing it.

Personally I would have liked to seen the Latino lady folk from Cuba shaking it up to the Rolling Stones. It would have been the highlight of the show.
