back in 2004 my brother got on the Friday Night Football board that just got started in Orlando. it was epic while it lasted. he and the orlando evans defense got into it and they put his number up for a 'hit'

those were the early message board days. the wild wild west.... surprisingly, boards started with players but they had to stop posting. my bro got called into the principals office (oooooohhh!!!!!) for the aforementioned offense

There was a group of coaches that rebelled against moderators in this forum through crazy posts and other acts of mayhem that threatened to shut it down and did for short periods of time. It got ugly and a lot of really funny and knowledgable football coaches left the board, some for good.

There was a time when getting blacklisted was a badge of honor.

What I caught rhymes with slap, but stung just the same.

WoW, and I thought (my firs mistake) that it (slap) was having a sense of humor. Then if you added the nickname for Richard in there you a lot of the coaches in all the states cept for Florida, you know, a Slap Richard.

After that he became Slap23 to me and the Nation was born...
