I hadn't delved into new music in some time, until this past weekend when I decided I had to find out what the deal was with the viral hit from Anthony Oliver - Rich Men North of Richmond -. That led me to a discovery of a plethora of new musicians in the genre of 50s/60s R&B, apparently despite the quality of the music they don't get much traction with the folks controlling the modern day music industry?
.) Durand Jones & The indications - Is it Any wonder and True Love
.) Thee Sinseers - What's his name
.) Aaron Frazer - Bad News, have Mercy, If I Got it, Love is, and Over You
.) Pepe Marquez - Be thankful for what you Got
