Manatee's freshman team hasn't won a game in the past 2 seasons. They are going to have to get transfers to get back on top.

Its really a little deceiving........ like this year there are 14 underclassmen on the varsity. Ten sophomores and four freshman. Our junior varsity has most of the freshman that would be down on that freshman team. For example, Irone Jackson a freshman, started at one RB position Friday against Lakeland. We also had a freshman Charles Armstrong starting at OG. So our freshman team doesn't at all have our top athletes. The numbers are down everywhere. Kids are just not coming out for football. So the freshman and junior varsity teams are going to suffer.

With the underclassmen playing you could see benefits down the road in experience.

Right that's why you eliminate the JV and let the Freshman team have a positive experience, now they have 2 sub par teams, kids will not come back out and/or transfer to greener pastures.
