Manatee has a long way to go yet, as they open up the 1st half of the game looking uninspired not yet conditioned and committing way too penalties in the 1st half. Dunbar ripped off a long run only to have it called back due a holding call, as well as exiting the game never to return. Lakewood Ranch took a 7-0 lead in the 2nd QT, with Manatee tying it up at 7 at half. The 2nd half Manatee got the opening kickoff and it never looked back, beating Lakewood Ranch 34-10.......(Lakewood Ranch scored a garbage TD with time expiring to end the game)
At this point Manatee just needs to be able to play games, its a very talented team that hasn't come anywhere close to playing like its capable of playing. Hoping its only the game experience that is missing?
