A legendary Boad OG - Mark Canon was in the Fish Bowl tonight and we had a chat about another legendary OG, Wavebb and discussed trying to do a get together before the Tarpons and Green Wave hook up at The Sam next week.
Man Lehigh, who made the Regional semi-fnals last season, had a slew of D-1s and the top 10th grade running back in the Nation. This was a sloppy game. They scored first, missed a PAT, and the Tarps scored to go up 7-6 and that was it for the half. That RB is big, fast and is going to be a handful the next couple years.
The 3rd started with the the Tarpons having a hard time getting the ball out of their side of the field, and punts that couldn't flip field position. They stuffed Lehigh twice on 4th downs in the red zone (That's four fourth down stuffs the last two weeks), but ended up taking two safties so Lehigh went up 10-7. It was a battle, very chippy, lots of cramping, but in the end the Tarpons forced five turnovers (Had two) and did what they had to on drives to score. Tarps move to 4-0. Being honest when I first saw this schedule and with a brand new O-line, I thought we very well could have been at 2-2 right now.
