Venice will be taking on the world again from the looks of their schedule. They are attempting to go to the state championship game for the 5th straight year. Unfortunately, the Chaminade rumors were false.

Aug. 15: vs. Gadsden County (preseason)

Aug. 22: at Tampa Bay Tech

Aug. 29: at Miami Northwestern

Sep. 5: vs. Bishop Verot

Sep. 12: vs. Port Charlotte

Sep. 19: vs. Orlando The First Academy

Sep. 26: vs. Lehigh

Oct. 3: vs. IMG Academy National

Oct. 10: vs. Sarasota Riverview

Oct. 17: vs. Clearwater Central Catholic

Oct. 24: at Sarasota

If you are a Venice fan you have many quality games to attend. I’ve always said Miami Central is the best public school program in the state. Venice might be pushing them. I guess it is just different there.

They definitely play an exciting schedule. Coach Peacock challenges his team week in and week out.
