Track and Field Records

Does Florida only count state Track and Field Records that are recorded at the state championships? I guess the same question could apply to weightlifting and swimming as well.... Or can you be at a major meet like the Bob Hays Invitational in Jacksonville and set a state record?

Yeah you have to break it at state for it to count.
