Why not allow district games to be played the last week of the season? In the past, district games had to be done by week 10 of 11 to ensure time for potential shootouts, but with shootouts gone, why not allow Bolles vs Trinity Christian in Week 11 for the district championship (or other similar games). If we have these 3 or 4 team districts, why not require them to play week 9, 10, 11.

I also agree. They are still using old rule but isn’t there still shootouts if two or three teams are tied? You still have to ha e a DC!!

Hardee,
No shootouts. They use head to head for 2 teams, but with 3 teams they use a variety of things, including their playoff points. So no, no more shootouts under the current system. So might as well allow district games to be played the last week.

Heck, it would be even better if we required district games to be the last few weeks so that district championships couldn't be sown up until the last week.
