How did the high school football season go overall?
“It was a rocky season, only going 1-9 was underwhelming but we learned a lot and we’re going to build on it.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I have been working out with the team in the morning, running track (400 Hurdles and Shot put) in the afternoons, and doing judo to help with football in the evenings.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think we’re going to shock a lot of people and have a big turnaround season that most people on the outside don’t think we’re going to have.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I feel like our biggest competition is going to be ourselves, if we stop beating ourselves and play together more, we can be unstoppable.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“There’s a lot of individual talent we face on the teams that we’re playing. Football is a team game though so we’re focused on stopping all 11 players on the opposite team whoever they are week in and week out. So we’re not losing sleep over anyone in particular.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes I plan on playing football in college.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“San Diego State (Offered), Portland State (Offered), Washington State, Southern Illinois, Bryant, New Hampshire, Valparaiso, Penn, Bethel College, Midwestern State, Saint Anselm, UNLV.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Portland State and San Diego State were initially, but New Hampshire, Bethel College, and Saint Anselm have been pressing the envelope more recently. It’s all ramping up so fast though so it’s destined to change.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I’ve made visits to Portland State, San Diego State, Washington State, Texas A&M, Texas Southern, and Southern Illinois.”
Do you have plans for any trips soon?
“I plan on visiting New Hampshire soon as well as deciding on whether to visit Bethel college or Midwestern state on April 15th.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I can’t say I did, I just like taking unbiased pieces from each game to help increase my football IQ and improve my game.”
