What have you been doing as of late with the off-season?
“I played lacrosse in my off-season and we just started spring the first week of May.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“My football IQ has increased and my leadership skills are more developed from training and looking more in-depth into my position and what it does on and off the field. Also weight gain and strength.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?"
“Pretty good. We have a really great new coaching staff and a lot of our players are dedicated.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?"
“Probably Cardinal Newman because they’re ranked 16 in the state. We have a pretty challenging schedule this year.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?"
“Not sure. Most of the teams on our schedule we haven’t seen or played against yet. Like I said, it’s a challenging schedule with a new coaching staff looking to grow our skills and stretch us as a team.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, absolutely! Football, hands down.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?"
“Quite a few. I’ve been invited to several college camps in and out of the state. Drake, Ave Maria, and Western Florida University are among them.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?"
“I’m keeping my options open as a rising senior, and working with a few of the dozen schools I’m interested in considering who are also considering me.”
Have you made any college trips yet?"
“Yes, to Valdosta in Georgia, Western Florida University in the panhandle, and USF in south Florida.”
"Do you have plans for more trips soon?"
Yes. I’ve been invited to camps and will be visiting those schools in Florida, West Virginia, New York, Iowa, and Ohio.
What camps are you planning to do this summer?"
“University of West Florida, Gyrene Football Prospect Camp, and a few out of state.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?"
“University of Florida.”
