How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“The season has been good so far. I feel that my teammates and I all want the same thing and that is to go back-to-back as State Champions! We are all motivated and dedicated when it comes to pushing ourselves in the weight room and at practice.”
Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“With the season just beginning, I am extremely proud of myself and the way the team is coming together, we will be a force to be reckoned with.”
How do you feel your team has played?
“Again, with the season just starting we can’t wait to show everybody why we won the State Championship last season. We have a lot of returning players and we have some new players and we have all jelled nicely together so we’re all looking forward to playing together this season.”
What do you feel your team can improve on?
“No team is perfect but each and every day we all do what we are supposed to do as individuals and as a team so that we can play as close to perfection as we can. We will continue to watch film, learn from any mistakes that were made, and continue to grow as individuals and as a team so that we can win a back-to-back State Championship Title.”
What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“It all starts with our coaching staff, they teach us to be the best that we can be both on and off the field. We know that in order to be the best, we have to beat the best so we plan on being successful in the win column with our top competitors. This is why Coach Schneider continues to compile the best schedule each year.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I want to continue playing football at the collegiate level.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Air Force, Navy, and Army have been recruiting me the hardest so far. I have also heard from the University of North Carolina - Charlotte, Valparaiso University, Bryant University, University of New Hampshire, Lehigh University, Bethune-Cookman and the University of Tennessee – Chattanooga.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Air Force and Navy are by far recruiting me the hardest. They have both offered me full ride scholarships to play football and continue my education with them.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Yes, I have made numerous college trips. I have gone on some visits with my mom and family, some visits with my 7v7 team (24k Team Black), and some visits with my high school. I have been to Ohio State, FAU, USF, UCF, Miami, FIU, Rice, Texas A&M, Valdosta State University, University of Delaware, Army, and Navy.”
Do you have plans for game day trips?
“I do not have anything set in stone yet but I would like to go to Air Force, Navy, UNC Charlotte, FAU, USF, Coastal Carolina, Bryant University, UCF, and really any school that I could have an opportunity to go to. I enjoy seeing the different ways that teams come together and the routines they have and share before the start of a game and I feel that the more opportunities I have to see this and be a part of will just help me in making the decision on where I would like to play ball and continue my education at.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
