It’s the Miners and Eagles, again. North Florida Christian has held the upper hand in these match-ups, winning the past three title game match ups. In fact, the Miners have never defeated the Eagles in the playoffs. However, the Miners will get a chance at redemption at least on the record books, while North Florida Christian hopes to end a three year consecutive skid in the Title game. The last title win for Eagles came in 2001 when they defeated Fort Meade 28-16. For the Miners the last time they hoisted the State Title trophy was in 2004 when the Miners defeated Blountstown 42-38. Either way this weekend will end at least one skid for either North Florida Christian or Fort Meade.
