Panhandle All-Area Teams

Here is the list from the Northwest Florida Daily News which includes Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, and Walton Counties:

They have not yet posted the Small School list for this area. Both Navarre and Crestview had awesome seasons but I am surprised by the number of players from schools that did very poorly. Is that a sign that the coaches did not properly use the talent?

Choctaw placed both their QB and WR on the team but no defense. Can you guess what their weakness was? There was lots of scoring all year!

Congrats to everyone selected. It is a great honor to have your hard work recognized. Look for many players from the area to play at the next level. Yes, high school football in the panhandle is worth watching!

Here is the link to the small school selections for Okaloosa and Walton counties. Congrats to Baker on returning to greatness. They were the dominant small school in the state in the '80s and look to be close to that same level again.
