The opening week of the season was filled with epic match-ups all around the state. Miami Central sent a huge message by going on the road and destroying Daytona Beach Mainland. The Muck area also flexed their muscles as both Pahokee and Glades Central got key wins over Dwyer and Atlantic respectively. St. Thomas Aquinas continued to show why their top team in the state and Niceville won a thriller over Lincoln. In addition, who could ever forget the upset for Tampa Bay Tech as they rallied on the road for a surprising victory over Plant. In Week two Mainland responded, St. Thomas rolled, and Dr. Phillips posted their second consecutive shutout, this time over Osceola. So what have we learned from the first two weeks?
