Manatee -at- Venice

This used to garner a lot of attention. Any fight left in that dog? Will Manatee even win a district game if this is ugly or a game at all?

Manatee should be able to pull off a district win this season, but it aint happening this week! Manatee had been able to knockoff Venice the last 2 years, during the regular season .......yet this year im guessing the option will probably be there to have a running clock at some point during the 1st half......that's a huge contrast when compared to the previous 2 years .......

I actually had the same thought after the game last year and I believe posted about it, but believe me that isn't going to be a issue this year.

Two biggest questions going into this game are pretty basic, does Venice hang 60 on Manatee tonight and does the Venice defense get a shutout? Both are viable realities, but in the end I believe only one seems plausible this week. This is a Venice team that possesses a lot of the same qualities of its past state title teams, dominating QB play, big & strong on both sides of the line of scrimmage with the only real difference with this Venice team being its possessing a abundance of explosive skilled talent too.......its a year I believe they were probably matched up well to beat STA, if Venice were still playing in 7A.

In as far as a prediction this week: Venice 55 Manatee 0
