Yessir. Butch Trucks' nephew. Derek Trucks, namesake of Derek and the Dominoes.
Joined the AllmanBrosBand for the 2000's until Final retirement.
Married Tedeschi, a blues star in her own right and they merged their bands.
Big band. Lots of solos. Solid horns and singers. Your kind of groove.

I love watching these live shows, you'll see people in Trucks' own band with amazed looks on their face, like they're blown away by how good he is, and they live with the dude.
