I don't live up there anymore but I haven't read anything else about it in their local paper.
It needed to be addressed immediately because it affected who would go to the playoffs. The other two teams involved were not upset and did not push the issue so I'm guessing FHSAA just dropped it.
I still think it is so sad that a player can age out of a sports program. What does that say about our education system? Most people don't want to pay for it, but, early childhood education is vital. My kids were playing educational computer games at 3-years-old but many families can't afford that. All kids deserve a chance to excel.
