After hiring it's new head coach on approximately 2 weeks prior to the start of Spring, Fort Pierce Central was able to split its Spring Jamboree, winning against Deerfield Beach 17-8 while dropping the second half 14-7 to Palm Beach Lakes. As usual, plenty of good and bad to be seen in the Spring. rotated much more in the second half and it showed, but needed to test depth. Also, conditioning seemed to catch up to us as Lakes came on fresh and we had been on the field for half a game already.
Was nice to get a good test/look in spring and should be promising moving forward under Matt Helmerich.
